Fighters from the new Syrian leadership held a military parade in the capital. The forces from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, or HTS, have intensified security after several soldiers were killed during clashes with Assad’s supporters in Damascus. Tensions have also been seen elsewhere in the country.
