The US Treasury Department says Chinese hackers gained access to its computers in a state-sponsored cyber attack. In a letter to Congress, Treasury officials revealed that the breach happened earlier this month when hackers exploited third-party software to infiltrate several workstations. China has denied any involvement in the attack and says it opposes all forms of hacking.
