In this edition of Entre Nous, we look at a tradition that nine out of ten French people partake in at some point in the month of January: eating "la galette des rois", or kings’ cake. The pastry is often associated with the Epiphany, or the moment when the Three Wise Men, or Three Kings, celebrated the birth of Jesus. We talk more about France’s galette des rois with Maëva Manchon, award-winning pastry chef from the Union Bakery in Paris and Eugénie Pont, journalist for the magazine and website Fou de Pâtisserie.
