Severe storms cause massive waterspout off coast of Saudi Arabia

A massive waterspout formed off the western coast of Saudi Arabia near Rabigh on January 6, as severe storms unleashed torrential rain. A Saudi National Center for Meteorology spokesperson described the waterspout as the most powerful ever recorded in the region.
