- So let me get this straight. The insurance companies canceled their policies weeks before the fires. Their homes are now burnt down. The state municipality says they have to pay property taxes. The banks say they still have to pay for the house . This is an overt land grab World Halll of Fun

- Of course they have to pay their mortgage it’s a loan. The insurance companies pulled out based on risk since California doesn’t mitigate risk of fire and the goverment of California made sure the insurance companies couldn’t afford to cover the risk
