Donald Trump is back in the White House and back in power as US President. Now US trading partners around the world are worrying whether he will follow through on his threats to shake-up Washington’s relations with allies and rivals through trade tariffs.
DW spoke to Sarah Stewart, the CEO of the Silverado Policy Accelerator, about Trump’s tariff plans and the impacts they could have.
We were also joined by political scientist Thitinan Pongsudhirak from Bangkok, who explained more about what Trump’s trade plans might mean for Southeast Asia.
