Since former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled Bangladesh in August 2024 the country’s interim leader, Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus has been confronted with mulple challenges. Hasina fled to India after 15 years in power and faces multiple investigations including for potential crimes against humanity.
