Israel has freed 200 Palestinian prisoners and detainees, the second such release under a ceasefire agreement between Israel and the militant group Hamas, which came into effect last Sunday. The Red Cross is facilitating the exchange. Buses carrying some of the freed Palestinians arrived in the occupied West Bank, while others who had been serving life sentences were transferred to Egypt. DW’s Emily Gordine spoke to a Palestinian student Amal Shujayyeh who was released in the first swap.
