The United States has started conducting deportation flights using Air Force planes. As Customs and Border Protection confirmed to DW, a C-17 cargo plane, carrying 80 Guatemalan migrants, departed on Thursday evening. US President Donald Trump also ordered 1,500 more military personnel to the border with Mexico, like here on the Paso del Norte International Bridge. Since taking office, President Trump has signed a series of executive orders on migration.
Trump also left thousands of Afghans refugees in limbo after the suspension of a resettlement program.
