The Chancellor has suggested to Sky News that the cabinet would be united in backing any expansion of Heathrow Airport, despite previous opposition from senior government figures.
Rachel Reeves is expected to use a speech on growth on Wednesday to support the proposed third runway at Heathrow, and to endorse expansion at both Gatwick and Luton.
