Friday marks the 1000th day that French national Cécile Kohler has spent in detention after being detained in Iran in May 2022 along with her partner Jacques Paris. The two French nationals are accused of seeking to stir up labour protests, accusations their families vehemently deny. Tehran is also holding a third French citizen named Olivier, who has also been detained in 2022.
