A large-scale rescue is underway in Japan to save a 74-year-old truck driver trapped in a sinkhole. The operation in Yashio City, Saitama, has entered its fourth day. The sinkhole, initially 10 meters wide and 5 meters deep, has expanded after merging with another one, complicating operations. The incident, which happened during Tuesday’s rush hour, has drawn national attention.
