“Stop fueling Genocide!”
Activists protest outside Chevron’s government affairs office in Washington, DC, accusing the company of “powering” the genocide in Gaza and “profiteering” from Israel’s wars.
Chevron, a US-based oil giant, operates two Israeli gas fields in the Mediterranean Sea and a pipeline connecting Israel to Egypt, generating millions in revenue and taxes for Israel.
Activists tell TRT World that Chevron has become a priority target for the Boycott, Divestment, Sanction (BDS) movement.
The movement has launched this week a nationwide campaign targeting the multinational company which is expected to announce its quarterly earnings soon.
Actions include dozens of protests and pickets at gas stations demanding that Chevron divest from Israel.
