Donald Trump has said that the US should take over the Gaza Strip and that Palestinians living there should be resettled elsewhere.
The US President made the comments at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. Trump suggested US redevelopment of Gaza could bring stability to the region. Netanyahu called Trump’s proposal worth pursuing, saying that it could "change history."
Trump said that the US would take care of the reconstruction of the war-torn territory and didn’t rule out sending troops to do so.
