Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has praised Syria’s interim leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa for his strong commitment to fighting terror.

In return, Ankara wants support from Damascus in its efforts to disband the Kurdish militant-run Syrian Democratic Forces in northeastern Syria.
