O’KEEFE INSIDE THE TREASURY: Policy Advisor at US Treasury Confesses He ‘Knows a Few’ Officials Who “Don’t Do Their Jobs” and Are Defying DOGE

“No One’s Quitting Because Everyone’s Dug in Their Feet;” Claims Layoffs Are Because “All He [Musk] Wants Is More Money”

“There’s a class of people in this country who care more about the money than they do about the country,” says Nathaniel Johnson, Policy Advisor for the U.S. Department of Treasury @USTreasury), to an undercover OMG journalist. Johnson claims Musk’s push for Department of Government Efficiency (@DOGE)-driven mass layoffs is greed, insisting, “He’s showing what he really cares about is money. So, in theory, all he wants is more money.” Yet, despite his claims, Johnson admits that many Treasury employees deserve to be fired, conceding that Musk is targeting those “who don’t do their jobs.” He even confesses, “I know a few of them,” elaborating, “There are people that I know who’ve been working for the government for, like, 40 years. And they don’t do much.” Beyond layoffs, Johnson exposes a culture of defiance inside the Treasury, admitting, “No one’s quitting because everyone’s dug in their feet,” revealing that many officials refuse to leave voluntarily. He also argues that DOGE should not have access to Treasury systems, citing vague “risks” to national security. “No one knows what they [DOGE] want to do with the system,” Johnson claims. He alleges that Musk “probably shouldn’t have access” to sensitive files. Johnson speculates that information could be given “to someone who they shouldn’t be giving it to… or they could give it to a foreign country.” OMG reached out to Johnson for comment, but he firmly responded, “I’m going to have to decline to be named.” Despite our efforts to encourage him to speak on the record, he maintained his position. In response, James O’Keefe stated, “I am going to do this story, with or without your permission.” Johnson ultimately ended the conversation without providing further comment. – James O Keefe

• This Johnson guy is a complete and utter fool. His claims that Musk just wants money and no one knows what he wants with the Treasury data are mind numbingly stupid.

  Johnson: Elon Musk has a higher National Security Clearance than Yours. His @DOGE is view-only to detect the fraud & waste that you openly admitted is in the Treasury Dept. As for the posture of “defiance” – that will be ground into dust and shaken off the feet of those working to save this Country from the criminal enterprise Obama/Biden have created.

• Anyone who protests about stopping stolen taxpayer money has an agenda.
• I wouldn’t hire him to sort mail. These people are way over promoted!
• Just wait until they look into the banking industry, Wall Street, and corrupt Hedge funds. Manipulating great US companies into death spirals. Some of the most corrupt institutions in the entire world. USAID will be a nothing burger compared to their corruption and lies.
• Musk has more money than he could spend in a life time. I highly doubt it has anything to do with personal greed. Musk is doing a great justice for the American taxpayer.
• I keep hearing that Federal Employees have never had an early retirement payout. I live in a town that is largely supported by DOE every few years, the contractors pay out early retirements. It’s done all the time. My husband was one of them. You are being lied to. Again!
• Why isn’t anyone pointing out that every DEI hire working in treasury, SS, etc has your private information. I was on the phone with one who works for SS and she absolutely couldn’t understand the job she was hired to do. She was frustrated and so was I.
• This is so stupid. Democrats are trying to panic people by claiming Musk is running DOGE for his personal benefit. He’s worth $400 Billion. He’s not interested in stealing anyone’s social security check or draining anyone’s bank account.
