Israeli captives Alexander Sasha Troufanov, Sagui Dekel-Chen and Yair Horn were released on February 15 in Gaza’s Khan Younis under banners that read ‘No migration except to Jerusalem’ and ‘Oh Jerusalem, bear witness: We are your soldiers.’
It was the sixth round of the prisoner exchange between Hamas and Israel since the ceasefire took effect on January 19.
In return for the three hostages, Israel is expected to release more than 300 Palestinian prisoners currently held in its jails.
