US President Donald Trump has added fuel to the fire over his ambitions for Greenland. The president told Congress he believes the Arctic island will end up in American hands ‘one way or the other’. For many Greenlanders, the main issue ahead of elections next week, isn’t joining the US, but full independence from Denmark.
