So far in 2025, the US and China are going punch for punch when it comes to tariffs on eachothers exports. But how much hurt can both economies take? In particular, the Chinese domestic economy has failed to launch and now the country’s leaders have unveiled some plans to boost domestic demand. But as whiplash tariffs from the American side leave that country’s trading partners bewildered, we’re wondering how much pain are both sides willing to tolerate?
