The Trump administration is finalising a new travel ban restricting travel to the US for citizens of several countries, most of which are Muslim majority, according to media reports.
This ban, first introduced during Trump’s first term, is reportedly being reinstated.
Students have reportedly been affected, with Libyan visas revoked and some universities warning foreign students from affected countries not to travel abroad, fearing they may not be allowed back in. The White House defended the policy as a national security measure.
