Elon does not even need Tesla to exert influence if he so chooses. He owns half of SpaceX, which will soon be worth half a trillion dollars, and will probably IPO in the not so distant future at over a trillion. Tesla is the source of his biggest stake of wealth, but it will probably be SpaceX at some point in the future. Does Rick Wilson want to shut down our premier space corporation too? Elon’s wealth is the product of the value he brings to the world, and VCs/investors/etc find that to be something close to infinity. Attempting to destroy Tesla to “save the country” is a shameful form of domestic terrorism, and it will fail, because the Tesla founder’s value comes from Elon himself, not from Tesla. – Jordan S Tweet

It’s more than just a car; it’s the future on wheels. And by buying a Tesla, you are supporting an American hero, Elon Musk. Personally, I wouldn’t ever give up my Tesla for another car.
