The death toll from Myanmar’s devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake has risen to at least 1,000, with more than 2,000 injured. It’s the country’s deadliest quake in more than a century. The US Geological Survey warns the toll could surpass 10,000, with neighbouring Thailand also affected. Kristina Simich has the latest.
