Democratic US Senator Cory Booker set a record for the longest speech in Senate history at just over 25 hours, in a protest against what he called President Donald Trump’s "unconstitutional" actions.
The previous record belonged to segregationist Strom Thurmond who spoke against the Civil Rights Act of 1957 for 24 hours and 18 minutes in 1957.
