Amnesty International reported that Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have used sexual slavery and gang rape of women and girls as part of their war strategy. Since April 15, 2023, the RSF has been fighting the army, contributing to one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, according to the UN.
