Iran describes nuclear talks with US as being constructive | DW News

Iran’s Foreign Minister has described talks with a US delegation in Rome over Tehran’s nuclear programme “constructive” and “moving forward.”

Abbas Araghchi told an Iranian broadcaster that he hoped Tehran will be in a better position to, quote “judge the possibility of reaching an agreement”. At their second indirect meeting in a week, Araghchi negotiated for almost four hours in Rome with Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff. An Omani official shuttled messages between them. A third round of negotiations is expected to take place next week.
