India has carried out strikes in Pakistan and Pakistani-administered Kashmir, India has said. Pakistan has vowed retribution over what it describes as an ‘act of war.’ Pakistan’s army chief said 26 civilians died and 46 were injured in the Indian attack on Wednesday. India’s military said it struck infrastructure used by militants in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. India said the operation on Wednesday between 1.05-1.30am targeted at least nine sites “where terrorist attacks against India have been planned” and were meant to “deliver justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attacks.” India called “non-escalatory, proportionate and responsible.”
10 civilians dead. 45 injured. Schools shut. Children terrified.
This isn’t war — it’s cowardice.

Since Pakistan is back in the news — who wants to discuss why 63% of marriages in Pakistan are among cousins.
For reference, it’s not like they don’t have a choice. Pakistan has a population of 241.5 million. There should be a lot of options other than your cousins. pic.twitter.com/taqSsVT60g
