Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’ Minister of Labour and Social Security, Sadik Gardiyanoglu, spoke with TRT World during the International Family Forum in Istanbul, emphasising the fundamental role of the family unit as the cornerstone of society.
Echoing President Erdogan’s description of the family as the “steel core” of the nation, Gardiyanoglu underscored the importance of declaring 2025 as the “Year of the Family” and called for stronger international cooperation to protect and preserve the nuclear family structure.
