The Israeli army launched a new wave of unprovoked attacks against Lebanon on June 5, beginning with Beirut’s suburbs and expanding to target the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh.
Israel alleges the strikes on Beirut’s outskirts were a targeted effort to eliminate an active Hezbollah unit, issuing evacuation orders to civilians in the area to vacate the suburb area.
