Earlier Tuesday, the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Norway imposed sanctions on far-right Israeli government ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich for allegedly “inciting extremist violence” against Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
They now face asset freezes and travel bans.
