- I think Scott’s being a little too cautious here. From what I can tell, the public is mostly fed up with these rioters. I think the one-bad-incident (or even few-bad-incidents) scenario will be forgiven. Now, of course, if it goes too far, then minds might change.

- When you read Alinsky and their other activist books they say that’s what they’re doing. They name call, harass people, follow them, etc all to provoke a reaction. Alinsky said ” you’re action is your target’s reaction.”
- The only thing wrong with that take is the rioting is all the business of the local government (Democrats). ICE, the Marines & the CA Guard are only defending federal personnel & property. The rioters know they’re in for federal felony charges if they go after them. It’s pretty clear the Trump administration has gamed this out & has a tight set of Rules of Engagement. The federal personnel are all far more professional than their adversaries & have better intel. It’s also quite clear that the leaders of the City of LA & the CA Gov are incompetent boobs.

- Tempered response is good, but many of us are coming to the realization that most of what we see is scripted- an op. The docu “Enjoy the Show,” by Pandora’s Box was pretty effn eye-opening. The people want the violence the democrats are fomenting ended and know that something is bound to happen and it won’t be a cops or Trumps fault.
