After allegations, speculation and abuse on social media – Phillip Schofield agreed to an interview with the BBC.
The former This Morning presenter became the centre of a media frenzy when he left ITV in 2023 after admitting to lying about an extra-marital affair with a colleague.
He confirmed he had had a "consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague", which took place while he was still married to his wife Stephanie Lowe.
Shortly after his departure from ITV, Schofield sat down with the BBC’s Amol Rajan in June 2023 to share his side of the story.
