President Donald Trump has convened a meeting with his national security team as the conflict between Israel and Iran escalates. The meeting comes after Trump threatened Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In a post online, Trump said: ‘We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.’ He went on to call for Iran’s ‘unconditional surrender’ – although it is unclear what that might mean.
