Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says his regime delivered a hard slap to the US, and crushed Israel.
In his first public statement since Israel and Iran ended their 12-day war on Tuesday, Khamenei presented the truce as a victory for Tehran. He also said the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities did not achieve much, rejecting claims by US President Donald Trump that the facilities were ‘obliterated.’ Khamenei has not been seen in public since Israel launched its attack on Iran on June 13th.
