UN Charter was adopted to prevent future deadly conflicts

Out of the ashes of World War II, 80 years ago today the UN Charter was adopted in an attempt to avoid further deadly conflicts. But the “never again” mantra that emerged at the end of that devastating war is now mocked, with global security at an all-time low. Bassam Bounenni reports.
