Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is due to meet US President Donald Trump at the White House later on Monday. It comes as Israeli officials continue to hold indirect talks with Hamas in Doha aimed at securing a ceasefire in Gaza. Trump said on Sunday there was a good chance a deal could be achieved this week. And Netanyahu believes meetings with the American president would help advance talks. It’s the first time the pair have met since Tel Aviv’s 12-day war with Iran. Bassam Bounenni reports.
