At least 11 people were killed and dozens injured in anti-government protests in Nairobi, Kenya, on July 7, as police used tear gas, water cannons and live fire to disperse protesters.
The demonstrations coincided with the 35th anniversary of the ‘Saba Saba’ uprising, a pro-democracy movement.
