HIV patients at risk following USAID cuts | BBC News

There could be six million new HIV infections and four million more Aids related deaths globally by 2029, according to the UN.

It comes after US President Donald Trump cut aid funding earlier this month as well as other drastic cuts from a number of donors.

The "phenomenal progress" in tackling the illness risks being reversed, the UN body in charge of fighting HIV/Aids added.
