Donald Trump says he’s struck a deal for the US to send weapons to Ukraine through NATO. The US president also says he’ll make a major announcement regarding Russia on Monday. It’s the first time he’s personally authorised weapon shipments to Ukraine, and marks a major shift in his tone to the war amid growing frustration with Vladimir Putin.
