One of the four MPs suspended by the Labour Party for opposing the government’s welfare reforms says the news was a "bolt from the blue".
Brian Leishman told Sky’s Sophy Ridge he was still in a "state of shock".
Rachael Maskell, Chris Hinchliff, Neil Duncan-Jordan and Mr Leishman were suspended from the party for repeatedly "breaching party discipline", Sky News understands.
