A third ceasefire between Druze militias and Bedouin tribes in Sweida has broken down just days after Syrian forces withdrew from the region. The military’s plan to redeploy has drawn air strikes and further threats from Israel, which has vowed to prevent Syrian forces from re-entering the area. Türkiye, several Arab nations and the White House have criticised Israel’s actions as violations of international law. Kristina Simich reports.
