Essex Police say they are combing through video to catch those behind Thursday’s violence in Epping, which left eight officers injured.
A protest outside a hotel believed to be housing asylum seekers quickly spiralled into violent clashes between crowds and police – with people throwing objects at police officers and hitting vehicles.
