Nigeria is set to launch an ambitious wildlife protection law, which aims to stamp out wildlife trafficking. The country is a hub for wildlife crimes – and pangolins are the species most at risk. Their meat and scales can fetch huge sums on the black market. Conservationists hope the new law will keep the scaly mammals safe. DW’s Olisa Chukwumah went to find out more from experts working to rehabilitate the endangered species.
