Greece under pressure for freezing asylum applications | DW News

Greece is under pressure for its recent decision to freeze asylum applications. Citing a surge in the number of migrants arriving by boat from North Africa, Athens says it will detain asylum seekers in camps for up to 18 months. Rights groups and opposition parties say the move is illegal and unconstitutional.
