A man has been remanded into custody charged with child cruelty offences after allegedly lacing sweets with sedatives.
76-year-old Jon Ruben appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday after youngsters fell ill at a summer camp in Stathern, Leicestershire.
