On this day in 1945, the US dropped a nearly four-and-a-half tonne uranium bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. It was the first time a nuclear weapon had been used in war, and it instantly killed tens of thousands of people. And for some survivors, the search for answers is still ongoing.
