“There’s a good chance that there will be a meeting very soon”
US President Donald Trump signalled a likely summit with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the near future to discuss the end of the war in Ukraine.
Such a face-to-face meeting would mark the first between sitting US and Russian presidents since Joe Biden met Putin in Geneva in June 2021, a few months before the Ukraine war began.
