France 24 journalist Carys Garland reports from Narbonne, in France, after officials said Thursday the country’s largest wildfire in over a decade had been contained after blazing through 16,000 hectares. Residents who had been forced to evacuate near the origins of the fire had not yet been allowed to return home on Thursday after, while others who were granted permission said they had no home to return to. Officials added it would take another several days before the blaze is fully extinguished.
