24 countries, along with the EU, have again called for Israel to stop using lethal force at aid distribution sites and to lift restrictions on organisations that distribute food in Gaza. The statement says the unfolding famine and human suffering have reached unimaginable levels. It comes as the families of Israeli hostages held in Gaza call for a nationwide strike on Sunday to pressure the government into agreeing to a ceasefire with Hamas. Paul Hawkins reports.
