Europe has vowed to respond with strength after Poland confirmed it shot down suspected Russian drones in its airspace. Poland has called it a provocation ‘more dangerous than ever before’. At a meeting of the European Five group in London, the UK called it a ‘blatant disregard for peace’, as it committed to bolstering air defences for its Polish ally.
