Brazil’s highest court has sentenced former President Jair Bolsonaro to 27 years in prison for plotting a coup to remain in power after his loss in the 2022 election. His conviction could put a dent in the far-right populist movement he created, and it’s already drawn fire from his ally Donald Trump. Andy Roesgen has the report.
